About the Event
MatSoc is doing a second Industrial Visit this term, this time to First Light Fusion on Friday 12th of June (Week 7). It's a very exciting event as we will get a tour of First Light Fusion's facility and we will be able to see how they achieve fusion via inertial confinement. It will count as a departmental visit.
The coach will leave the Department at 2pm on the day from Keble Road. Please meet by the coach at 1:45pm. The visit will begin at 2:30pm and will end at 4:30pm for a return to the department at around 5pm.
You may sign up for the visit using the RSPV below, which will open on Tuesday 26th May (Week 5) at 1:15pm. The sign-ups will close on Saturday 30th May at 1pm. There are 23 spaces available and, if oversubscribed, MatSoc members will be given priority. You will be asked…
